Ingredients:
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup chocolate chips

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup cocoa powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp espresso powder (optional)

Directions:
  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350F. Grease an 8x8 pan with cooking spray or melted butter.

  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, espresso powder, and baking soda until well combined. Set aside.

  3. In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and fully incorporated.

  4. Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, along with the chocolate chips. Fold the ingredients together until just combined, making sure not to over mix.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle more chocolate chips on top of the brownie batter.

  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes.

  7. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before slicing and serving.
